It was ah ... surprising to see that she stayed here, for as long as she did. Well, that they both did, actually. She ended up stayed here for three days before finally departing with father. I suppose it was better than I could have asked for, since they did end up staying longer.

Oh, I had so many wonderful conversations with her, and she's taught me so much ... and father looked so much better, before he left. I think he was finally able to rest easy, knowing that everything was all right with his research.

But ... well ... after they left, I ... mm ... stepmother wasn't very happy at all.
