History: Daphne was the daughter of a rich forest noble in the deep mists of Kilia. On holiday at the age of twenty-two, Daphne traveled to Taln in order to see the Cleric as is customary with Kilians. While in Taln, however, she met and immediately fell in love with Desmund, a kind-hearted man with a great mind. They had both met as if it were destined for them to be together. The two love birds married and lived happily in Taln for thirteen years and were blessed with the greatest gift of all, a beautiful baby girl. However, as Daphne's father became ill, it became apparent that the family couldn't live out the rest of their lives in Taln. The three moved back to her fathers mansion so that his only child could be by his side on his deathbed.
Aurnia, Daphne's daughter, had lived a joyful childhood in Taln, learning magic from her parents and getting all the love in the world. Because of this, their move to the Manor had completely changed her life as she had to accommodate herself to a new and unusual home at a young age of twelve. Only seven months after they had arrived in the manor, Aurnia's grandfather died. Although she had only known him for so long, he was a kindly old man that made it apparent where her mothers gentle nature had come from. She would sit by his bedside while he told her great adventurous stories of knights and mages, princesses getting rescued by princes, anything and everything that sparked her imagination. Because of this, his death was mourned, even by a child that did not understand the complexities of death just yet. Aurnia was not the only one mourning the death of her grandfather, her mother Daphne, it seemed, had been struck harder by her fathers death than anyone could have imagined. Her health soon began to deteriorate and she seemed to become more and more tired with every growing day. Her sleeping habits were strange and soon became altogether lost. It became so severe that a sleeping potion had to be made for her. She couldn't sleep, therefore she couldn't think. She became less and less like herself, and when the potion was administered, she seemed to fall into a deep and relaxing sleep. But she never awoke again. All that she had to remember her mother by was with an elaborately designed necklace with a charm of delicate, beautifully spun glass, a one of a kind wonder. Aurnia took this necklace and swore to cherish her mothers memories, so that she would live on.
Aurnia's mother had died and left her family stranded in a very strange place. Aurnia had still not gotten used to the quiet life in the forest, and with both her mother and her grandfather gone, it didn’t even feel like it was her home at all. She was upset, always tired, and had nightmares which made her awake screaming and drenched in sweat. This worried her father greatly. He felt that a house so big deserved more than two inhabitants and felt that it would be good for Aurnia to gain some siblings as well as a new mother. Although he would never love anyone other than his first wife, he decided to marry again for the sake of his daughters happiness. When Aurnia turned fourteen, her father married a woman from a well off family. She had two daughters and was also a widow. Desmund had thought that a widow would be better understanding of his child and of himself, therefore better for the family as a whole. Aurnia also needed someone who would take care of her while her father went away on business, and so it was decided. Aurnia gained a mother and two sisters, all of whom she was very excited to become a family with. However, they didn’t seem very excited at all. In fact, they were all but excited. They soon took over the household, treating Aurnia as nothing but a servant, only being decent human beings to her when her father was around.
Now, at the age of nineteen, she is still trapped in her role as the servant. She wants to tell her father, she wants to tell him everything, but she doesn’t want to hurt him or ruin his last chance at happiness. Therefore, while her father is away on business, she endures everything, and then becomes the happiest person alive when he comes home once again.

Personality: Aurnia is a bright, friendly, honest, and kind young girl who also knows how to be upbeat and sincere. She knows how speak her mind when she disagrees with something but can also keep an eye on her surroundings and knows not to get herself into trouble if it comes her way. With her fathers wit and charms and her mothers skill with magic and kind nature, Aurnia seems to have only gained good qualities from her parents. Even so, their stubbornness did rub off on their daughter.
With so many different qualities about her, it’s a wonder she’s stayed in the manor for so long. However, if only for her father, she will stay until either she or her step-family are gone from the face of Eire.

Appearance: Aurnia stands at a height of 5’6” and is just a bit taller than an average female in Kilia. She is a gorgeous brunette with hair that flows down just past her shoulders and curls at the edge. Her eyes are a deep hazel color that anyone could just fall into if they were to ever stare for too long. True to being a Kilian, she has fair complexion that compliments her features well. She has smooth, silky skin, which accentuate her beauty even more, that is until you see her hands, which are definitely hands that have been through enough work to be noticeable.
